Nope, no ray tracing in ff16 are you sure I'm almost positive df mentioned the game had some forced raytraced effects back when it released in the ps5 and that's why it ran like shit. It wasn't really an issue with the previous games (not all) With ff16 though, it just further underlines how barebones, empty and boring the narrative is

For reference i've played all ff games and i enjoy all of them even the more disliked ones (like ff2 for example) and having wrapped up rebirth i can safely say i enjoyed ff16 more than rebirth I like the story, the setting, the music is kind of a wash i think both soundtracks are incredible. Never mind the scenes themselves look so much better now Between this and the dlss iq improvements from the update ff16 is pretty how i envisioned it on pc.
